SLS was founded on 5 February 1885. Ever since, our mission has been to explore, collect and disseminate knowledge about Swedish culture in Finland. Our vision is Knowledge and culture for an open and enlightened society.
This is a big and important task, which requires us to constantly evolve. You can read about our values, vision and strategy here (in Swedish). Together they form the basis of our activities and show us the way forward. Quite simply, they help us succeed in our mission.
